		<description>goltz is a really nice guy. he still participates in twins events.  i believe that when he signed with the dodgers, the twins folks thought that he would not do as well in the big city.  they may have been right.</description>

		<description>Ah, those halcyon years when pitchers actually declined at a normal rate.  I&#039;m surprised I never heard of Goltz before, seeing as he won 20 games in 1977.  Anyhow, great site, and thanks for checking me out too.</description>

		<description>That&#039;s a pretty steep drop from a 2.50 to 4.16 ERA! Guess the Twins knew what was going on after those 6 years of about 30 starts each.</description>
